On December 31, the Minister of Public Security signed and issued 04 Circulars related to fire prevention, fighting, and rescue operations.
The newly issued Circulars include:
Circular No. 149/2020/TT-BCA detailing the implementation of several articles and measures of the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and the Law on Amendments and Supplements to several articles of the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting, and Decree No. 136/2020/ND-CP dated November 24, 2020, of the Government detailing several articles and measures of the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and the Law on Amendments and Supplements to several articles of the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting.
– Circular No. 150/2020/TT-BCA prescribing the equipment for fire prevention, fighting, and rescue for civil defense forces, basic fire prevention and fighting forces, and specialized fire prevention and fighting forces.
– Circular No. 147/2020/TT-BCA prescribing measures to ensure fire safety, fighting, and rescue operations for karaoke and nightclub service establishments.
– Circular No. 148/2020/TT-BCA amending and supplementing several articles of Circular No. 57/2015/TT-BCA dated October 26, 2015, of the Minister of Public Security guiding the equipment for fire prevention and fighting for motorized road vehicles.
The above Circulars will take effect from February 20, 2021.
These newly issued Circulars specifically address prominent issues in fire prevention, fighting, and rescue operations that concern the public. Notably, Circular No. 149/2020/TT-BCA was issued early to avoid any legal gaps, facilitating units, establishments, enterprises, and the public in implementing Decree 136/2020/ND-CP, which will take effect on January 10, 2021.
